Getting Close

For this project I used an app called VSCO to take my photos. I took pictures of living and non-living objects while getting as close as I could. I really liked editing on VSCO because it was very simple and had lots of different options for me to choose from. This was also the first time I used the app. The hardest part of the project was finding living things but once I found them the pictures turned out very well. I think that if I could I would take my pictures in the snow because it would look cool in the background.

Macro

For this project, I took “macro” pictures, or pictures up close. My actual camera worked great for this assignment because it automatically goes into macro mode when up close to something. The biggest challenge was trying to find animals to take pics of because it was winter, I am really proud of how close I was able to get to the squirrel without them running away. I had no issues with my camera. I would take photos of objects/animals that are very hard to get close to, like a squirrel.

Getting Close

For this task, we were to get a photo of any object, but it had to very close to it. It was very easy to use vsco as it gives you very easy tools to edit with. It was my first time using it, and it was very easy. My challenges were that I had to redo all my pictures because they weren’t close enough. If I could, I would get an up close shot of an animal.

” UP CLOSE”

In this project we have to take photos of something closer, and for me was hard to find something interesting and beautiful. But l get some pictures because during the class we went to outside to take photos of any object, and it supposed to be closer, I use the camera of my phone to take this photos. I like this project because is an ability to get cool pictures and edited it, than you know how to take pictures very close without moving. If l have the equipment time, l would like to take closer photos of animals like in the zoo, or to go at a mountain there are a lot of trees and small animals. Up Close

What worked well on this project was was finding things to take pictures of. You can take pictures of anything in your house, pets, friends, and even things on the street. what didn’t work was getting it up close. It was really hard for me to take a picture of something up close without it blurring and not focusing. a challenge was getting things inside of things. I took a photo of a speaker and I had to have my camera inside of the hole without anything in the way. If I had the time to get up close on the street lines in the middle of the road I would do that on the yellow lines. To find the rest of my photos click the link here

Close Up

In this project we were told to take 10 photos including living and not living things. The thing that worked well for me in this project was finding new angels. The new thing i tried was using the app VSCO. The thing that was chalenging for me was trying to make sure your picture was not blurry because of how close up you are. If i had the time i would want to take close up pictures of plants. I would want to take pictures of them because they are very interesting and when you look up close to them you can see all the different textures and colors. you can see more of my photos here

Close Up

In this project, we were asked to take 10 pictures of close up objects, some living and some not living. To get this done, I used VSCO so I could adjust settings for my camera. This app worked well. One challenge was when the picture came out blurry. It was also difficult to find objects to take a picture of. If I had all the time and equipment, I would photograph a fish. I think this would be cool because you can see all the scales and minor details. You can see the rest of my photos here

Up really Close!

This project was based on zooming into things to create a beautiful and confusing picture. If people don’t know what the object is then that makes it better because they’ll have to figure it out. In order for this project to work I used Macro on cameras but on my phone I had to do something else because my phone of course doesn’t have Macro. On my phone I couldn’t use the zoom because the pictures would be blurry, so what I did was just bring my phone’s camera really close to the object and it made the pictures come out pretty neatly. Some challenges I had doing this project was to set the lighting on the devices I used, I didn’t know if it would be better with or without the flash, getting the cameras to focus was also another problem, and finding the objects to zoom into was also a big issue. If I had the equipment, time and the ability to get there I’d like photograph a droplet of water falling into a lake because that would be so beautiful to take a close up picture of. Down bellow are two of my favorite close up pictures. Click here to find the rest.

Getting Close

This assignment was very interesting. We had to take close-up pictures of living and non-living things. Using the app VSCO was very helpful and helped me get all the photos. It wasn’t difficult at all. I would like to photograph an ant up close if I could. Here are two of my favorite pictures, you can see the rest of them here.

Up Close

In this project, I had to take close up pictures of 5 things that are living and 5 objects. We had to switch the setting on the camera to Macro, so that the camera could know that we are trying to take close up pictures, and focus on the objects. What worked with this project was finding good lighting and getting very close to the object. Although I had to get close, if i got too close, the object would become blurry. For this project, I tried taking pictures of things that somebody would look at and have to think about what it is. What was difficult for this project was finding subjects for the pictures, because I had to think about cool objects that I could take a picture of and make it look different and cool. If I had the right equipment and the time, I would take pictures at a park, because there are so many incredible things I could take close up picture of in nature.
