My Logo

My logo is a clip art of a camera with flowers and I put my initials in the lens. For my logo project, I got my photo off of google and I got my initials on a monogram maker. I didn’t contact the owner of the photo. When I use a photo or something from another photographer, I give them credit for it. If someone used one of my photos, I think they should give credit for it. The easiest part of this project was definitely making the monogram. The hardest part was finding a photo because it was hard to decide.

24 Colors

In this assignment, I got a box of 24 crayons and took a picture with each of the crayons against something the same color. The hardest part of the project was finding the perfect color that matched a specific crayon. The easiest part was setting up the crayons to take a picture.

24 Crayons

In this assignment we had to take 24 crayons and find the color that matched the crayons. There were come challenges one of them where actually finding the colors that matched to the crayons. The easiest part was taking the pictures.

24 Crayons

For this post, I’ve decided to walk around my school and try to blend a simple box of 24 crayons with the many colors around the area. Since the walls of the school are nothing but a boring beige, I had to get creative and search the terrain for any unlikely spots of color. The most challenging thing for me was to not get my hand in the picture itself. This meant that to take a good picture in a place where a hand was needed, we had to get resourceful. I’d hang them on edges, place them very carefully on the leaves of large plants, and let them sit precariously on books and lamps. The easiest part of this was taking the photos in unique angles, because I excelled at the thought process that went behind that. Of the 24 crayons I captured, the Salmon Crayon set against the 1000 piece old candies puzzle was my clear favorite.

24 Crayons

In this project I used 24 crayons to take pictures of, with the same color of the crayon in the background. Some of the challenges in the project were getting the same exact color as the crayon because some crayons have different shades of the same color. However, I found angling the crayons pretty easy on the background.

Crayon Project

For this project we took crayons and tried to find colors within the school that match the crayon color. It was hard to find the bright colors because our school is mostly neutral colors, but it made it easy to find neutral colors. Click Here to see my photos:

My Logo

This is my logo I am using for my pictures. I put a camera before my initials for it to be a simplistic logo. It was easy to find the camera picture that I wanted but it was difficult to find the font that I was satisfied with.

24 Colors

In the 24 color assignment, I had to take a box of crayons and match each color to something around my school. The most challenging task for this assignment was finding 24 different places to take my photos. The easiest part was actually taking the pictures. I enjoyed messing around with the lighting and the angels of the camera. My favorite photo I took is the one below.

24 Colors

Our cafeteria’s “Mighty Mini By Hershey” ice cream sandwich and Crayola’s Dandelion.

While creating this project and taking pictures, I went through some great accomplishments and challenges. Some of the challenges were finding crayons that matched the background well enough to take pictures of. Another one was making sure I had all 24 colors and not having multiple takes of the same picture mistaken for another color. However what I found to be rather easy was the placing of the crayons and the balancing. Overall this was a good “first” project for us to do, it was an easy and smooth transition into our future assignments. I learned that when your camera wont focus or the picture just doesn’t seem to fit your expectations, try to take the picture from another angle. The picture above is the one I personally like the most out of all of the other pictures which you can see if you click here.
