We were asked to use our cameras to capture a very well defined photo of something small. What worked well was taking pictures of things that were not moving. If I could I’d photograph ants. Here are the rest of my pics.

Catch The Action

In this assignment we had to capture the motion on someone by taking photos. Keeping the camera still and having lots space to capture the entire flow of motion. Using the shutter lens was really helpful. I would like to photograph football.

Action Photos

In this project, we had to take pictures of people doing an action. We had to make sure the action couldn’t be staged. One thing I did when taking action pictures was I took bursts so I could get the right picture. One tip I have for taking action pictures is to be patient. You might not get the picture on the first shot but you will get it eventually. A sport I would like to take photos for would be snowboarding. Overall, I really enjoyed this project because there were lots of different things you could have done with the project.

Close Up

In this assignment we get close up to an object and take a photo including a lot of detail. What worked well for this assignment was getting really close to your subject so the photo would show the subject and have a lot of detail. One challenge I faced was getting all the details in the photos. If I had the time and equipment to do this I would take photos of butterflies and rain .

Action Photos

The purpose of this project is to try to capture an action on camera, whether that be a guy running to catch an incoming football, or a pen falling off a high table. The hardest part of this is being able to take a crisp and clear photo, as opposed to a blurry one. I was able to get my shots by putting on the burst and trying to get as close to the subject as possible, to avoid blur from the distance. If there’s any better tip for you, it’s patience. If you have time, take as many photos of the same action as possible for maximum possibility of taking a decent photograph. If I had more time myself, I’d take pictures of high jumps, bike races, and diving board flips.

Close-up Shots

In this project, I took close up shots of objects and nature. For these pictures, I used the app VSCO because the camera on the app allows the user focus on a certain point in the picture. It was difficult finding subjects but then I realized zooming in on regular objects and focusing it would do the job. I would want to photograph something from space because lots of things in space aren’t necessarily solids and seeing it up close would be astounding to see.

For this project you have to take picture of someone moving and edit those photos to make one whole photo. I took a multiple picture of my friend running and jump in the the middle. I stacked the photos I took to make a new photo. I wouldn’t recommend taking pictures of hair, or an object because it’s more difficult when you are editing the photo. This project was very difficult but a little fun at the same time.

In this project we took pictures of objects up close. We had to take the pictures so that people couldn’t recognize the object easily. I found taking pictures of plants easier than taking pictures of other objects. Some of the challenges of this project is finding an object to take pictures of and getting the camera to zoom into the object you want to take a picture of. If I had time and ability to get there, I would take an image of a bird. I’ve always wanted to see one super up close so it would be col to take a picture of it. I want to take a picture of its face to really get up close and see all of the features.

For this project we had to take close up pictures of objects. It was pretty easy to find objects but it was kind of hard to find good angles so that the shadows didn’t get in the way. Taking pictures of flowers worked well because they had a lot of textures. I’d like to take close ups of a stream or river.

Up Close

In this assignment, we had to get close to the object we were photographing and take their picture. I tried to use objects that didn’t show my phone’s shadow. I sometimes struggled in finding them, though. If I had the time, equipment, and ability, I would like to take close-up pictures of flowers.

This is my favorite photo (I can’t add my logo because my Photoshop isn’t working.)
