5 Shots

During this assignment I had to take 5 pictures from different angles on each object. One challenge was finding someone who wanted to be my person object. The person was the hardest to photograph because they kept moving. this helped me find the best angle to take pictures.

I asked the person to stand in different directions and angle. Also asking the person who was holding the light to hold it a little closer to the person’e face.Something that worked was changing the shutter speed which helped a lot. What didn’t work was trying to stand in a certain way to make sure that the stuff in the background wouldn’t show. Here is the link to the rest of the pictures.

Portraits

When we took the photos we had to adjust the ISO so the lighting would fit for the really dark picture background. We had to stay in a certain position and hold a light up at a certain angle. When we stood in between the wall and the camera at an equal distance and use the light but kind of blocked with our hands it worked really well. It didn’t work well if you stood against the wall and had direct

Five Shots

In this project, I went around LPMS and took photos of different objects from five different angles, in order to see the difference with perspective of each angle on a shot. I took photos of both a blue paper bin, and a water bottle, the former being in Mrs. Phillips’ class, and the latter in Mrs. Larue’s.  I made sure to keep the lighting the same, and had to get different angles on some of the objects because of the saturation of the light. Here are two of my photos.

black background

We used professional cameras and spotlights to create a great photo, then turned the lights off and changed the ISO and shutter speed to get black backgrounds on our pictures. The camera itself was hard to work with but everyone’s collaboration helped. When editing our photos, we cropped out stuff and changed the “curve”. I took the photo of Grace and she took the photo of me. The link to my groups photos are here.

Portriats

In this project we had to turn off all of the lights and shine light on the person and make the black background look infinite. Some things that worked in this project was shinning light on the persons face and adjusting the settings.  Also, a few things that didn’t work were shinning the light on a persons shoulder and super long frame settings.
