24 Colors

Over all the 24 Colors project was fun and enjoyable, the part i found hard was to get certain colors, especially peach, the easy part was taking the rest of the colors.  The rest of my photos are here.

24 Colors

This is my 24 Colors post. This was my first photography project, and it was pretty fun. I got to walk around my house and the school to find things that match the colors of the crayons. The challenges were finding things that were the right color. It had to be pretty close to your color, and that’s pretty hard. The easy part was editing them in fireworks, because i have gotten used to it by now. My 2 favorite pictures were the pictures of the recycling bin and the leaf.

This assignment was about finding colors that match crayons and taking a picture to resemble that color. You had to go around the school and find colors that matched your crayons. Some challenges of the project were trying to find the right color that matches. I always thought I found the perfect match, but it ended up not matching at all. Another challenge was trying to keep track of what pictures I took. I flipped the crayon over to remember that I did that color already. It was easy to find the basic colors like white and black because they were everywhere in the school.

24 Colors

For our second project, our class was given an assignment to take 24 different pictures using 24 different colored crayons on 24 different surroundings that matched each crayon. It was pretty simple to find possible objects to use, sense the school building was abundant with many things in many colors. The camera I used also easily took perfect pictures both in lighting and angle. The difficult part, however, was to find an object that matched the crayon PERFECTLY (tone, shade, tint, etc.). But, I think all turned out well in the end.                                                                                                                                           -Marie Valouiski

24 Colors

For the 24 colors project we went around the school or other environments that we chose and tried to match the colors of the crayons to objects that we found. This project was harder than I had sought out for it to be. One of the challenges I faced while doing the project was that usually when I’m finding colors I don’t focus on the exact shade I just look at the labels but for this project the labels might not be the exact shade we need. Another challenge was the crayons didn’t always work for the surface I needed, they didn’t stick well to glass so I had to find another thing that matched that didn’t have glass over it. On the other hand, it was easy to find the simple colors like orange and red but when it came down to the shades it got complicated. This project taught me that their are so many different colors with different shades that are eyes can be deceiving when we come across shades that are similar. In this project, we were asked to buy a box of crayons. We brought our crayons to school and we were told we had to go around the school taking pictures of the crayons on or next to objects that are the same color. My problems with this project were that a lot of the crayons looked the same so I had to be very original.  What was easy was taking the pictures because all I had to do was take them with my phone and upload them to google drive.

24 Colors

For this assignment I was asked to take a picture of 24 crayons that match a color in the school. It was hard to find the less common colors around the school but I ended up getting them all. Finding more of the simpler colors was easy because I could find them all around the school in obvious spots.

The 24 colors project was a project where we took pictures of crayons. The background had to match the color of the crayon. The hard part of this project was finding some of the colors like peach and lime green. The easy part was picking the two that I liked. You can see the rest of my photos Here.
