White Portrait Background

For this project we had to take pictures with a real camera against a white background without leaving any shadow. My group would hold up lights behind the model so there wouldn’t be a shadow.  After

Portraits

To take these photos, we had to adjust the ISO and shutter so the background of the photo will be completely white. After we took the photos, we edited them a bit in Photoshop to make sure there were no dark spots. What worked was holding the light on the background. What didn’t work was holding the light on the person or holding the light in the photo. You can find the rest of the photos here.

5 Shots

In this project I had to find an object and take 5 pictures from different angles. A challenge during this project was finding an object that actually has 5 different angles, and not having your arms or legs in the photo. The hardest object to photograph was the “vine” because for one of the photos I  needed to move the “vine” so that it would look like the raindrops were just sitting there. This project helped me realize that one object can be seen from so many perspectives. You can find the rest of my photos here.

1 object, 5 shots

Our next assignment was taking 5 different photos with different angles of 3 objects. One challenge was figuring out what angles to do and how the lighter was. The hardest object to take photos of was my sister. She had to stay perfectly still and in the same pose for a long period of time. It helped me become a better photographer by opening me to more angles to take photos. Click here for more photos.

White Background

In order to take these photos me and my group had to turn the camera light sensitivity up along with some other things. turning on surrounding lights worked and turning off the lights didn’t work. I then went into photo shop and cropped out any part of the picture that isn’t white. see the rest of the photos here

5 shots

In this assignment we had to take 5 different angles of a object. One of the challenges I had was to get a good angle by having it not be the same like the others. It was hard to do the ceiling since its higher then me and it has a flat surface. This project helped me learn how to take pictures perfectly. Here is an link of my different photos

5 Camera Angles

This project was about taking pictures of 5 different angles of an object. The project wasn’t that easy to accomplish. Some challenges I faced was finding the right angles of each object to make the pictures look good. I also struggled with finding the right object to take my pictures of. Although these two things were challenging, I found that taking pictures of object was easier that taking pictures of people. The most challenging thing that I had to take a picture of was of my sister.

Portraits with an Infinite Background

To take these photos, my group and I had to get the lighting just right, and take a picture with the camera on manual. To edit the photos, I used adobe photo shop, and I made the background as white as possible, then placed my logo at the bottom of each. The pictures came out pretty good and they all worked. if you want to see more photos click here. (My photo would not upload FYI)

Portraits with an Infinite Background

So to take the photos we had to put the camera to manual, we had to hold a light too.  The background was a white paper.  To edit the photos we had to go to Adobe Photoshop but not to photoshop but to change the light settings.  I added a picture I took and messed with the contrast and the background lightness.  So I made the background lighter and the person darker.  Then I cut the edges because it was yellow.  I would say the person being color than just grey is better.  What didn’t work was the contrast of black and white.  If you want to see the rest of my photos, click here

1 Object, 5 Shots

For this assignment we had to find 2 objects and a person and take 5 pictures of each object from different angles. The challenges were finding a person i can take a picture. Also the person was the hardest because they had to stand still and it was hard for my person. This project helped me learn that you don’t have to use the same angle for every Picture. here
