Catch The Action

In this project we had to capture some type of motion in our picture. I held the camera button on the iPhone so it took multiple pictures and I could capture every moment of the action. Tips i have for someone trying to take action pictures is to get good angles and make sure you have some type of method to get multiple photos of every moment like I did with the iPhone. I would take pictures of the sport volleyball because there is so much intense movement and its my favorite sport. Find more of my pictures here.

Catch the Action

For this project we had to take 8-10 pictures of objects in motion. In order to get good photos, I took a burst of photos so the pictures were not blurry. I would advise that other people should also take their photos on a burst. I would want to take a picture of someone kicking a soccer ball.  Below are my 2 favorite photos. Click here are the rest of my photos.

Catch the Action

This project was to take a picture in action, no not suspense pictures but literally in action. I mainly just tried to think out of the box on things others wouldn’t do. Instead of bringing my own props I used props that you can find anywhere such as leaves. If you are using a camera instead of the phone camera make sure the shutter speed is fast or it won’t catch the action in time. I’d do soccer because the ball will fly across the field making it a good shot to take. You can find the rest of my pictures here.

Action

For this assignment we had to take a picture of something while it was moving. To get good pictures I made the shutter speed on the camera faster. A tip to get a good picture; Take photos in bursts, So if one’s not good maybe the other one will be. If I had the opportunity to, I would take a photo of someone getting chocked/kicked/punched during a UFC match. You can see the rest of my photos Here.

Catch the Action

In this project we had to take pictures of action. It was all about timing because we had to take the picture at the perfect second. For this to happen, we had to make the shutter speed faster.  If I could take a picture of a sport, it would be boxing because the  punching and facial expression would be perfect for an action shot. You can see the rest of my pictures here.

Catch The Action

For this project, we had to take pictures of things that are in motion but not just in motion also in action.  When we were about to take the photo if you jumping you should put the camera down low so it would look like shes flying. If you are trying to catch someone running just hold down your camera button and it will take a burst of photos and then see which one you like. If I could take a picture of someone playing  soccer or football that would be really cool.  Something that I did that was very good when I took my photos was the different angles. These are my two favorite photos if you want to see more click here.

Actions

This is a project where you have to capture an action that is going on in a picture. When taking my photos i set my timer so when I took the photo the action it was perfect timing and was not blury.  if you are trying to take a picture of something fast with no blur make sure your camera is focused.

Catch The Action

In this project, we had to capture images of people or things doing something. In total, we needed to take around 50 because of the amount of people within my “group” Each person had to take 8-10 pictures of different actions. Once we had finished taking the pictures, we need to crop most of the images. When taking the pictures, you are recommended to have the shutter speed set to 1/800. You also want different angles or positions to capture the best photo you can. A sport that I would love to photograph would be soccer mostly because I play soccer.

Catch The Action

This project was very interesting. We had to take pictures of people or objects in motion. When I used my phone camera, I used the burst feature and that helped me pick the perfect picture. One tip I have for people trying to do the same project as I did, is to have patience, and a lot of it. It is very difficult to capture the perfect picture at the perfect moment so you will need to try a few times. I would want to take a picture of someone doing a back flip, I think that is so cool. I have my 2 favorite pictures here, and you can view the rest of my pictures here

Photos in motion

In this project we had to take pictures of items in motion. A set up that helped was to put the camera under the object to get a better more extreme angle of the action. A tip I would give for someone doing the same thing would be to be patient because the perfect photo wont always come quickly. If i could I would take a photo of soccer players. The rest of my photos are here.
