24 Colors

For our second project, our class was given an assignment to take 24 different pictures using 24 different colored crayons on 24 different surroundings that matched each crayon. It was pretty simple to find possible objects to use, sense the school building was abundant with many things in many colors. The camera I used also easily took perfect pictures both in lighting and angle. The difficult part, however, was to find an object that matched the crayon PERFECTLY (tone, shade, tint, etc.). But, I think all turned out well in the end.                                                                                                                                           -Marie Valouiski

24 Colors

For the 24 colors project we went around the school or other environments that we chose and tried to match the colors of the crayons to objects that we found. This project was harder than I had sought out for it to be. One of the challenges I faced while doing the project was that usually when I’m finding colors I don’t focus on the exact shade I just look at the labels but for this project the labels might not be the exact shade we need. Another challenge was the crayons didn’t always work for the surface I needed, they didn’t stick well to glass so I had to find another thing that matched that didn’t have glass over it. On the other hand, it was easy to find the simple colors like orange and red but when it came down to the shades it got complicated. This project taught me that their are so many different colors with different shades that are eyes can be deceiving when we come across shades that are similar. 24 Colors

In this project, we were asked to buy a box of crayons. We brought our crayons to school and we were told we had to go around the school taking pictures of the crayons on or next to objects that are the same color. My problems with this project were that a lot of the crayons looked the same so I had to be very original.  What was easy was taking the pictures because all I had to do was take them with my phone and upload them to google drive.

24 Colors

For this assignment I was asked to take a picture of 24 crayons that match a color in the school. It was hard to find the less common colors around the school but I ended up getting them all. Finding more of the simpler colors was easy because I could find them all around the school in obvious spots.

My logo

When I need a photo or a picture of something for a class, I get it from google I will copy and paste of download it and then place it. I do not contact the owner of any picture because they have not put a logo therefore I think it is public and for everyone to use.I do not give credit to the owner unless I am asked to.If someone was using my logo for a school project I would expect credit for the picture so that they dont just use it and not give credit. My logo is a camera with my initials in the middle to represent photography and me.It was difficult to find a nice logo that I liked and to make it from scratch.

24 Colors

The assignment is to get a crayon box of 24 crayons and find those specific colors around the world and take pictures of the crayons next to the color. The challenges of the project were when I had only 6 crayons left, but each was a very similar shade of purple/blue. I found taking pics of black, white, gray, and different shades of green to be very easy.

24 colors

For this assignment, we where told to buy a 24 colors box of crayons. Mr. Fitz instructed us to take pictures of objects we found around the school and neighborhood that would match these crayons. I faced a lot of challenges during the making of this project. One challenge I faced was when you wanted to take a picture of a crayon and a object on a wall, you can’t get your finger in the picture. It was really hard to hold the crayon and take a picture and not get your finger in it. Another challenge I faced was how we were suppose to get the crayola sign on the crayon in the picture. In certain positions, it was really hard to make the crayon stay with the crayola sign facing toward the camera. I found matching the objects to the crayons easy. Even though this project wasn’t easy, it was really fun!! Click here to see the rest of my photos here.

24 Colors

For this assignment we had a box of 24 crayons and we had to go around (school, outside, etc.) to find places to take pictures of the crayons that matched the color of the crayon. The challenges of the project were finding a color that matched the crayon color. Some of the hardest colors for me to find were all of the oranges, blues and peach. The easy parts for me were taking the photos because we could use our phones which made it convenient and knowing which colors I had already taken photos of because once I had taken a picture of a photo  I flipped the crayon upside down so I would not use it again.

24 Colors

For this assignment had to take photos of all the crayons in a crayola 24 box. The challenges of this project was finding colors that look exactly like the colors of a crayon. What I found to be easy was taking the photos and uploading them to drive. For the rest of my photos come here.
