Final Project

This semester I learned what phones can really do and how a camera’s quality all depends on how you use and experience it. In the beginning I thought photography was all about following the rules and zooming in the perfect amount, but it’s really about making the photos your own with creativity and unique abilities. I used to take photos in the same place at a straight angle but now I like to explore different angles to change the way my photos are perceived. My favorite project was “Getting Up Close.” This project taught me that phones can do a lot more than I thought, such as zooming in and still keeping the photo clear if you use the right techniques. I have thought about multiple times about becoming a photographer because I love being creative and exploring new styles. Photography is a great way to capture memories and look back at great times, and also times of tragedies. Overall, photography has been a great interest of mine for a long time and I’m happy I was able to experience this.

Last Project!

We did a lot in this semester of photography. We did many projects and took lots of photos. After learning a lot, my opinion on photography did change. I found it very fun. Now, when I take photos, I make sure they are centered. My favorite project was rule of thirds because it taught me the strategy. I don’t plan on pursuing a career in photography but I do plan on considering it for high school. I have other interests for a career. To see my photos from the scavenger hunt, click here

Pro’s vs. Joe’s

Over the entire semester, I have learned many tips on how to take proper photos. Photography class was a very entertaining, yet hard-working class. My thoughts on photography have completely changed. I now view photography as a very intricate topic with many different viewpoints. I have also changed the way I take pictures. Using all the techniques we have learned, I now usually used Rule of Thirds and different angles in my pictures. My favorite project was light graffiti because it was very interesting to see how the pictures turned out after we drew them in the dark. The light graffiti still amazes me. Photography is a very interesting career, but I don’t believe I will become a photographer when I grow up. I may continue to take photography into high school, unless there are other options that interest me more (since I already took photography this year). It has been a pleasure being in this class for the first semester. My favorite photo is shown below.

The Final Post

My class and I started with Taking pictures of crayons from then we have been learning how to control cameras. We also found out how to use lighting to our advantage and rule of thirds. We have been challenged to take pictures of things up close and on a studio. I didn’t realize there was so much effort into taking photos. When I take photo I make sure everything is right from the different settings and lighting. I think my favorite project was the Up close project because it was interesting to look at everything from a different angle. It does interest me as there are so many things in this worlds that I can show people with photos and could be a career. I think I will take this during high school as the challenge is very fun.

This is my favorite photo that I took.

This semester was a lot of fun and I had a fun time taking pictures. My thoughts have changed a lot about photography as the semester moved on. I have changed the way I take photos now from editing on photo shop to learning about F-stop and shutter speed. to make my photos look better. Getting close was my favorite project because the photos I took turned out great. Although I won’t pursue a career in photography, I will definitely consider taking it in High School because it was one of my favorite classes at LPMS.

Final Project

This whole semester we struggled to take pictures without having it being taken by others, it was very complicated but got your mind thinking, if someone had the same idea as you, you would do something else to make it better. My thoughts changed on photography greatly, I enjoy taking pictures and I finally learned how to take pictures better with the techniques this time. I have changed the way I took pictures a lot. My favorite project was the rule of thirds because when we took pics then, the lighting was very good for pictures. Photography interests me a lot as a career and I will definitely go through with it during high school.

#ProLevel

This semester I have done many projects, including light graffiti, macro pictures, and taking photos of objects in motion. I have also learned a lot, more than I would have on my own. I learned how to use three of the manual settings in a camera, ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. I have also learned that if you put a camera on a tripod in a pitch black room and turn up the shutter speed to as long as possible, you can draw in the air with light. Before this class I wasn’t very interested in photography, but this class has really changed my mind. I plan on taking more photography classes in high school. I used to take photos very carelessly, and I didn’t understand how to take good photos, but now I am able to take very good pictures, much better than before. My favorite project was the light graffiti project, which I enjoyed a lot because of how much fun it was to draw with light as my paintbrush and the air as my canvas.

so, how was my experience from taking photography? well, it was okay. i never really wanted to take the class in the first place, and i don’t want to take the class again next year. But it expanded my knowledge of how to take great picture! my favorite project was our first project, 24 crayons, because i really like taking pictures of crayons blending in to other objects, and one of them was displayed during Arts night! these are my favorites:

Photography was very fun. For the whole semester, we had very interesting projects. I’ve always loved photography so my opinions on it never changed. I don’t have a favorite project because I loved them all equally. I would really like to continue taking photography in high school. I really enjoy photography. Here is my favorite photo from this last project.

This semester was very fun. I got a lot better at taking pictures and getting ideas for pictures. I wish I could have photography all year. Also, some of my thoughts on photography has changed. I’ve realized how you can take really cool photos on you’re phone when before i thought you mostly had to use a professional camera. Now when I take photos, most of the time I use Rule of Thirds and the grid. My favorite project was probably Up Close when we did macro photography. I think the really close and focused photos are so cool and there is so many possibilities for photos. I really want to take photography next year in high school. I want to take it next year because I really enjoy photography, and I like having projects for photography because it gives me ideas.
