Black Background

My group had to take pictures of each other in front of a black background with a light on us. To get out photos we used a 80 ISO, a 30 shutter speed and a 3 f-stop. We had to set the camera to these settings in order to make it seem like the background We also had the light shine on the left hand side of their face which gave us a good outcome. If we were to shine the light directly on them we found there were shadows in the background.

Portraits White Background

For this project I had to use a camera and learn how to change the ISO to make it look like there wasn’t a white background behind the person I was taking pictures of.Also I had to change the shutter speed so it can stay open for a longer amount of time so as you can let in as much light as possible. The thing that worked for me was the position that the person was in and the color of the clothes the person was wearing. Also putting the pictures in black an white worked as well. What didn’t work was in some pictures the light way to bright and you couldn’t see the person. Also when the light was facing the white background helped seem as if the person was cropped into the picture. You can see the rest of my photos here.

Infinite Background

For this project I had to take pictures of myself and people in my group. I had to mess with the ISO, Shutter speed and F-stop. I had to make the camera settings so that the background is completely white. A iso of 800, A shutter speed of 80 and a f-stop of 7.7 seemed to work the best  A low shutter speed and a low f-stop seemed to work but not as good as the other set of settings.

5 Shots

I had to take pictures of another person for my 5 shots 2 objects .The challenge that i had was take 5 pictures of each object. The 5 shot of a person was hard because it was had trying to keep someone in the same place.Learn how to take pictures. You can find the rest of my photos Here.

1 Object, 5 Shots

For this project I had to take 3 objects (two items and one person) to take pictures of at different angles. One challenge was to not move the object once you have taken a picture because you can’t move the object after taking a photo. I think the shoe was the hardest object to take a picture of because I had to take pictures of the shoe with only one shoe on my foot which was a bit annoying. This project helped me realize that you can make more pictures more pleasing if you take them at different angles.
