I had a really good experience in photography this semester. When I first joined photography, I thought it would be just taking pictures and not actually working and editing on the computer. Now I know how to take pictures with a real camera and I know a lot more about camera angles. My favorite project was the crayon one because it was fun to find backgrounds/ objects to take pictures of. Photography doesn’t interest me as a career but it’s a fun thing to do. If photography is available in high school I might take it because I like taking pictures.

This semester was actually good because I worked hard and actually enjoyed it. My thoughts about photography have actually expanded. I have more knowledge in what is actually required or what is in photography. I know now its more than taking pictures. I’ve changed the way I take pictures by using what ive learned during photography like different angles and such. My favorite project was the black background post because we got to use a golden light which locked really good and our pictures turned out really good. I already have a goal so photography doesn’t interest me for a job but for a hobby I would definitely do it. I would do it next year because the projects were really fun and not that hard.

Last Project!

This semester in photography has been one of the best semesters ever. First, we started out just taking photos of crayons and putting a logo on them, and then we started to get more complicated. We started to take picture from certain angles, and editing them with Photoshop to make them black or white, or to crop out part of a picture, etc. my thoughts on photography have completely changed. I thought it was going to be boring and I wouldn’t have any fun, but it ended up being one of my favorite periods of the day. Now, whenever i take photos in real life, I have to make sure it has the right filter and is at the right angle, or I’ll have to take it again. My favorite project was the up close project, because we got to zoom in and take pictures of ordinary things. But when you look up close, they look a lot differently. I don’t think I will pursue photography as a career, but I will definitely continue to take good quality pictures.

This is my favorite picture from this semester.

During this semester, we took pictures and learned how to take more complex photos. my thoughts changed cause at first i thought it was really easy but in reality its hard. I have changed the way i take photos. My favorite project was the crayon project because me and my friend went to Micheals to take pictures and i kept breaking the crayons. I will probably want to take photography next year because i had a lot of fun in this class.

My photography semester passed by very, VERY quickly. I had so much fun taking pictures using unfamiliar techniques, camera settings, and methods. Using these things opened me up to a array of fantastic pictures that I never knew I could do. My favorite project to do was “7 days” because I took some amazing photos and got to explain how these things make me happy in life. Before starting this class, I thought taking pictures couldn’t be professionally done and that anyone could do it. I then learned that taking pictures is actually pretty complicated. There are many different methods of taking pictures, settings on my camera that I never even thought about, perfect lighting combinations, etc. After this semester, I started finding unique positions to take pictures of and getting the perfect lighting. This class taught me that photography is very fun, and I hope to continue pursuing it in high school (along with my other art interests).

Salutations to all, Marie Valouiski.

During this semester we did a lot of different projects and I learned more about photography. Now that I know more about photography my thoughts about it have changed. Also I have changed the way I take photos because now I know the correct way to take pictures and make them look good. My favorite project was the scavenger hunt because I had a lot of fun looking for everything and taking pictures. I like photography but I don’t think I would do it as a career or continue it next year. This is because i’m not very good at photography.

This semester we learned many new things in photography, rule of thirds, action pictures, macro, etc, ! My thoughts about photography have changed completely. My favorite project was Macro. I loved taking pictures of things up close because things look completely different up close! Photography does not interest me as a career (I already have my heart set on being a vet, sorry) but I think it will be a very fun hobby! I want to keep learning photography in high school! Here are my pictures.

The semester has been good and has taught me how to take better photos. Yes, because you can get different angles and different filters and make the same photo look so different. Yes, I try and get the pictures from all angles now. My favorite project was the one where you had to take a bunch of different angles. I think it is really interesting I’m not sure if I will do it next year because it is challenging and I am not that good with computers.

This class was super fun and I learned a lot of new things that I love to try at home with my actual camera. I showed my parents some tricks and they were also amazed at how I did it. Taking photos aren’t what I usually do so I’m not so good at it but this class taught me how to. I also learned how to edit photos in different shades of black and white which I thought was super cool. The rest of my 7 photos are here.

First semester in this class has been easy. I got to learn different ways to take pictures. My thought didn’t change because I knew at first that photography was going to be fun. My favorite project was light graffiti because it had to to do with art. Yes because I really like art and I have always liked photography. Yes because I think it’s fun and creative in many ways.
