In this assignment we had to capture the motion on someone by taking photos. Keeping the camera still and having lots space to capture the entire flow of motion. Using the shutter lens was really helpful. I would like to photograph football.
Framing your Subject
for this project we had to incorporate the rule of thirds method we learned. We had to make the surroundings focus on the main image, such as trees had to magnify a person or another tree. This project is similar because we had to have a main focus for the image. This picture is my favorite because it has the best focus of the main image. This project was very interesting because it was challenging but in a good way.
Rule of Thirds
Having a person or an object in front of no background worked really well. If a person was in front of the wall that didn’t work well. The rule of thirds project helped me realize that there are many different forms of taking pictures. The lines helped position the main focus of the image in a place where the viewers eyes could still wonder behind the main focus.
Black infinite background
The process of doing this assignment was really easy. This picture worked really well because of the lighting and theirs no shadows, We were supposed to get his whole body in the light but only got half of it.
White Infinite Background
To take these pictures we had to change the settings on the camera. We had to change the shutter lens of the camera. Giving light to the background didn’t really work because it was already a light background. What worked was making sure that there were no shadows. The camera was very good in the picture taking.
I object, 5 shots
I had to take pictures of 2 objects and take 5 different angled photos of each, after completing the 2 objects I had to take a picture of a person, with 5 different angles. A challenge that was presented during this assignment was taking 5 different angled pictures. The person was the hardest to take a picture of. It was the hardest because not everyone was willing to let me take a picture of them. This project helped me realize there are different angles of taking pictures.
24 crayons
During this assignment I brought 24 crayons to class and I took many photos of the different colors in the corresponding background. A challenge was finding the right color background for the crayon. Something that was really easy though was holding the crayon in front of the camera.
My Logo
I would grab my photos from google and other sources. I would email them and ask for permission. You always giver credit to the photographer / owner. If someone was using my photos i would expect them to ask for permission and for them to credit me. My logo represents photography. It was easy to find out what i wanted for the background it was hard making it good.
