During my scavenger hunt I realized that we took so many good pictures this year so I thought I would show you my favorite. The reason this picture is my favorite because I think it really shows my personality as I am being goofy and I have that one raised eyebrow which is my favorite thing to do in some pictures. Also, This project was for Arts night so we had to have a white background with a light shinning into our eyes.
Smile
For our photography class we had to take a picture a student smiling than keeping a completely straight face and than see the huge difference between the face. I did a total of 14 students and family members and the difference was insane it was amazing to see the transformation of how the whole face even the way you see the person changes for example when I took a picture of my brother I thought he looked like a jerk with his straight face, but than when he smiled I viewed him as a nice and sweet human being. Here are some examples Enjoy!!!!!
Newseum
In photography class we got assigned a field trip to the Newseum in Washington DC. In the museum our teacher assigned us to find three pictures and write about them I chose the ones that really stood out to me. Next, after the photography section of the museum I went to the FBI section and that was one of my favorites because they had actual clothing that belonged to one of the very first FBI agent they also had the very first FBI car. Lastly, in the newseum they had a 9/11 exhibit which was amazing because they had a piece of the actual thing that was used during the time to hang the American flag on.
Set In The Street
In Photography class this week we made a set in the street which is a miniature replica of a house used for pictures although the house is split in half so my class and I made a living room. In order to have everything we needed we had to take couches and bookshelves from the teachers lounge. Also, we needed to have some wood for the walls and the wood was exactly “4’8”. Than we had to paint the walls [wood] with gray paint my teacher provided us with. Lastly, once we finished it was time to decorate!!!!!!!! Although, decorating was quite challenging we were able to communicate and the house ended up looking awesome.
7 Day Thanksgiving Picture Challenge
During Thanksgiving we had a week off of school our photography teacher gave us a challenge to take pictures of things we are thankful for.In the first picture all the way to the 5th one I was trying to show that I am thankful for family and the people that support me 24/7. The 2nd to last picture of Haleigh Washington shows that I look up to her as a volleyball player and inspire to be just like her one day.Lastly, on my last picture it is picture of Natacha Karam {Jaz Khan} she is a actress on the new hit series TV show “The Brave” she is the lead female sniper and I inspire to become the strong and independent women like she is on camera and off camera.
Rule Of Thirds
In photography class this week we focused on needing to have a graph on our cameras in order to follow the rule’s that are included in the rule of thirds.Although I have had some difficulties which where needing to measure the people in the picture so that the rule would be right.
Black Backgrounds
During Photography we got to mess around and play with the ISO and shutter speed to get black backgrounds on our pictures. Also we had to be in a dark room and take pictures of our group mates and our selves and we had to have on light shining on us while the room is completely dark.

Light Graffiti
In Photography class we had to take a flashlight and have a room completely dark and than we had to draw some thing and someone would have to take a picture and than your drawing would show up like the examples I have below. Also, we had to mess around with the photos a lot in order to make it look like that for example we had a certain time limit to draw something and than we had to keep a straight face throughout the whole time until the picture was taken.

Portraits
In order to get the pictures to look like the ones I put below I had to mess with the ISO and Shutter Speed. As I was editing the photos I was having a lot of trouble with Shutter Speed because I had no idea how fast it could take a picture. Lastly, I believe that the ISO worked perfectly with my pictures because I knew what I was supposed to do with the picture.
