Up Close

This was a fun post but it was kind of difficult project. It was hard to come up with good ideas for pictures. Something that worked well was taking pictures in the grass because there is usually interesting things there. I would like to get an up close picture of a animal if I could.

Action

In this project we had to get a picture of people and objects in motion. I used my phone with normal settings, it caught most of the pictures well. My tip is take the picture when it’s in the air to show motion. I would photograph soccer because it’s my favorite sport.

Framing Your Subject

In this project we had to use natural and man made frames to take pictures. In this project we didn’t have to use rule of thirds so the pictures could be more centered. My favorite is Christian in between the tree because it took a while to find the perfect angle and stuff. A challenge was finding interesting frames to use.

Rule of Thirds

This project was really fun to do, one of the things that was hard was finding interesting pictures inside. Something that worked was making Jordan sit on the bench to make the picture more interesting. I didn’t realize how important rule of thirds is, every time I lined my subject with the lines on the right or left.

White Background Portraits

This project was lots of fun and some challenges. Some of the challenges that I had doing this project is finding the iso camera settings and light shutter settings. Certain light shutter settings made the picture too light to see and some made it too dark. To not get a shadow on the picture you need the perfect combination of lighting and settings.

5 Shots

In this project we had to take pictures of 3 different objects (1 had to be a person) in 5 different angles. Thinking of the different angles was probably the most challenging part of the project was thinking of the different angles. The hardest object to photograph was the crayons because there was a limited number of angles I could of done. Now I feel like i’m more creative in taking pictures and I can make my photos more interesting.

24 Crayons

We all had a box of 24 crayons and we had to take pictures of all of them with objects that are the same color of the crayons. We could go around our school and our house to get photos. The most challenging part for me was trying to find certain colors like pink and purple. It was also challenging to take a good photo without getting the person who’s holding the crayon’s hand in the way. The easiest part was finding colors like grey, black, and white which are everywhere around the school. My favorite picture was pink because it took me a really long time to find a pin part of the school so it felt really good to finally take the picture.
