In this project we had to use small legos and capture a picture with a real life appearance. We had to make sure that the camera focus on such a small photo and the picture couldn’t be blurry and needed it to capture a story. Click here for more pictures.
Light Graffiti
In this project we had to go into a dark room of any sort and take pictures while using lights to capture a “story.” We did this by turning our ISO to a low of 100 and kept the shutter speed open longer so that we had enough time to draw anything we wanted to while in the picture. Macro Photography
In this project we got all close up and personal. We came very close to our subject to capture the tiny details. We made sure the camera still was in focus or else the picture would come up very blurry. We don’t want to take any characteristics away from our subject so we made sure there was no other distractions in the background. Click here for more pictures.
Action Shots
In this project I learned how to capture movement without making the picture blurry. We had to show an object of its abnormal place and show it in action. In photo shop we had to layer pictures to make a stacked photo, again showing movement. Click here to view more of my pictures.
Rule of Thirds
For this project we had to have a subject in 1/3 the picture and draw the viewers attention to it. You also need to have background that stands out and the subject cannot be on the same plane. Click here to view more pictures
Infinite Backgrounds
For this project we had to take pictures of a subject in front of a black and white background. We had to eliminate all shadows. We adjusted the ISO, if its too low it will not work. Also, we had to adjust the shutter speed. People had to stay still or it would not work. To view more pictures click here.
My Logo
When I need photos for a class, I usually go on Google. Normally I do not contact the owner of a photo. If it is a written project, then yes. If not, then no. I normally give credit to the author. I do not expect them to give me credit but I would like it. My logo contains my initials (ESK). My logo was not very hard to make. It was easy to create since it was a star. It was some what difficult when I had to pick a color that goes with both light and dark backgrounds.
