Light Graffiti

For this project, my group was in the school gym in the dark making light graffiti using our phone flashlights and screens. We had to use the mode Bulb to take our pictures. For the bulb mode, you hold down the picture button as long as you need to then, while we were in the gym Then you get any light and then draw a whatever you wanted to create a picture while the shutter was open. What worked really well for my group was using a single color from our phone beside our flashlights to make our pictures more interesting. What didn’t work was trying to color a big picture or shape. One thing that was really frustrating with this project was when we would hit the picture button and it wouldn’t start for another 10-30 secs so while we would be drawing out the pictures the camera wouldn’t catch the picture. An idea that would work pretty good for this project is maybe bringing in more props besides our phones like maybe a bench or a book and other things that could bring more interesting photos in the future.
