In this project, I had to take pictures of 2 objects and 1 person. I had to take 5 different pictures of each object, from 5 different angles. The challenge of this project was finding angles that did not look similar. In some pictures, they look similar enough, even though they are from different angles. The hardest object to photograph was the person. I didn’t want to make the pictures look very similar, even if they were all taken from the front. This project helped me to realize that there is not just one way or angle to take a picture and make it look interesting. To see the rest of my pictures, click here.
24 Colors
In this project, I took 24 crayons and found objects around me that have the same colors. Some challenges of this project are when I found something I wanted to take a picture of, and finding the right angle to take the picture. Sometimes, it would come out weird, because some objects were in front of windows, making everything in the background dark and hard to see. Another challenge was making sure that similar pictures and colors did not look alike, and making the pictures look interesting. What I found to be easy in this project was taking the actual pictures. I found that part fun too, because I liked looking for cool ways to position the crayons on, in, or next to the objects. I really liked this project, because it was a fun challenge to find 24 objects to match the crayons I had. To see the rest of my pictures, click here.
My Logo
I get the photos that I use for class from Google, but I don’t contact the owner of the photo asking if I can use it. I do not always give credit to the photographer or owner, although I do do it occasionally in presentations or Google Slides. If someone was using my picture for a class, I would expect them to give credit to me, since it is my photo that they are using. My logo is a circle with my name, Kayla Murphy, around the inside, with a heart in the middle. The easy part about designing my logo was coming up with the design, because it always looks so easy in my head. The hard part was making all the letters evenly spaced out and putting them around the circle, because I had to do each letter individually.
