#Pro Level!

#Pro Level!

Overall I learned that this semester had been very fun and educating. We took lots of different pictures of different things. I thought photography was going to be very hard but it turned out to be very easy. I have learned to take better pictures using the rule of thirds. My favorite project was up close because you could see all the elements on an object, and if their was any water on it then the picture looks cooler. For me I think photography will interest me for a career. I want to continue photography in high school because I would rather do something I know then something I don’t know. Photography is great because I can use it on taking other pictures and everyday life. My favorite photo is here.

Up Close!

Up Close!

In this project we had to take pictures very close to objects and living things. The point of this project was to take a picture of a object really close and you couldn’t zoom in. You can use this setting on your phone called Macro or you can use VSCO. Something that went really well is the cropping of the image and some up close objects but some others were hard. I tried to take new pictures. Some of the challenges was trying not to get the same picture as everyone else. There were no complications with my camera and it was kind of difficult to find different subjects and things to take pictures of. I would to take a picture of a bug or a tiger because they have really pretty eyes and cool skins. These are my two favorite photos if you want to see more pictures click here.

Set In The Street!

Set In The Street!

In this project we had to make a scene in the school lobby. We had to recreate a photo from two different photographers Justin Bettman and Carrie Mae Weems. In our group was Ashley, Alexandra, Brianna,Taniah, Tabitha, Rebecca, and Asierah. The tools I used to get these pictures are make the photo black and white, then you have to put a elliptical marque around your image, then push select modify feather, and select inverse add 250 and then you can change the color. If i could choose a place to tell my family’s story it would be at home or at a very special place they liked to be you would see a lot of food and chairs or cleaning of the kitchen. 7 Days

7 Days

I’m thankful for my sister shes the one on the right. I’m grateful for her because she has helped me with anything. She is very funny and very kind but she can be annoying at times. Overall she is a very good sister, she knows that I will love her everywhere I go.

I’m also thankful for life because I would miss wonderful memories if I wasn’t born. I wouldn’t have a sister or anything. Some people say life is horrible but once you see and find good things to do you might love life.
I’m thankful for food because without food I will be so skinny and have nothing to eat . Without food I would die and chipotle its so good.
I’m thankful for  my friend tabitha. She is a very funny and a little weird. Sometimes she can be annoying  and mean but she is still a good friend.
I’m very thankful for my mom because she is always there for me and she makes me happy sometimes. She is my best friend and i love her so much.
I’m also grateful for my cousin because he is very fun, annoying, and a baby at times. He has mixed emotions toward everyone sometimes he is happy and sometimes is angry.
I’m also thankful that I have a roof over my head because without somewhere to sleep and eat every night I would have nowhere to go.
Catch The Action

Catch The Action

For this project, we had to take pictures of things that are in motion but not just in motion also in action.  When we were about to take the photo if you jumping you should put the camera down low so it would look like shes flying. If you are trying to catch someone running just hold down your camera button and it will take a burst of photos and then see which one you like. If I could take a picture of someone playing  soccer or football that would be really cool.  Something that I did that was very good when I took my photos was the different angles. These are my two favorite photos if you want to see more click here.

Smile

Smile

For this project we had to take 15 pictures of people which is 30 pictures in total. The difficult part was asking people if they would like to get their picture taken, a lot of people said no and barely anyone said yes. The changes I see are that when I asked them not to smile they look at me like I’m crazy but when I ask them to smile there  expression changes immediately. Bias could affect the job because if you knew them they probably wouldn’t smile but if you didn’t know a person then they would say sure. You should tell your client to ask people politely if you could take a picture of them if they say no then don’t take the picture if they say yes then tell them i need a picture with them smiling and not smiling.  If you want to see my slideshow of photos click here.

Light Graffiti

Light Graffiti

This is my favorite photo if you want to see more click here. The first thing we did was put the camera to manual and then put it on shutter speed for 15 seconds.  Some of the things that didn’t work was when you had to hide the light so you could make the design. Sometimes people didn’t face the light towards the camera, some people didn’t even turn the light off when they were done so it was just a big blob of light. Also some things that did work didn’t really work as we wanted it too. Some of my frustrations were when the picture didn’t look like what you pictured. Some ideas for taking it to the next level is making weird designs.

Portraits with an Infinitive White Background

Portraits with an Infinitive White Background

These are the photos we took with the white background. If you want to see more click here. The iso had to be really high to take these pictures. Some of the pictures we took didn’t work because we didn’t fix the camera. The rest of the photos were great.  I liked this project the most because there was less editing to do.

Rule of Thirds

Rule of Thirds

These are my two favorite pictures if you want to see more click here. Some pictures didn’t work because we had to put the grid on our camera’s so we knew what works and what didn’t. Some of my pictures did work because it was specific angle that you needed to take pictures from so you would get it right.

Portraits with an Black Background

Portraits with an Black Background

These are the photos with an Black Background If you want to see more click here. The easiest part was when you make the person lighter to make the background look darker around the person. Actually none of the pictures  worked because we didn’t do it right the first time.
