Action

For this project, I was assigned to take pictures of people and or things in action. What I did was make my models either jump or run to capture a good image. If you are going to make an action photo, I recommend you capture someone either running, jumping, walking or catching something in order to get a perfect shot. If I could capture a sport it would be cheer leading because cheerleaders do a lot of flips and tricks and that would be a pretty neat picture.

Up Close

For this project, “Getting close”, I was suppose to take close up pictures of different objects around the school. What I found easy was getting the right angle and lighting for the picture. What I found challenging was finding good objects to take pictures of inside and outside of the school. If I could photograph anything close up, I would photograph something really colorful such as an eye. ?

Framing a Subject

For this project, we were suppose to find objects and or people to make a “frame”. In order to do so, the object/person were positioned a certain way to get the perfect shot. I also only used specific locations that have a certain shape to frame it. My favorite photo is the one of my friend, Emily, because she is in between the two columns and I feel like this location was good for framing.

White Infinite Background

In my opinion, this project was pretty simple. All I needed to do was use a little bit of lighting a take the picture and later on editing it on photo shop. I had no complications with this project what soever and everything went smoothly.

Rule Of Thirds

In this project I was successful with getting the right position to take pictures using the grid. However, what I wasn’t successful with was getting the right positions I wanted the people to stand to get a decent picture. I think the rule of thirds is useful if you are going to do an edit with the picture you took since you have a good amount of space to do so. The “lines” were supposed to help me place my models/objects in the right place. Click here for all the pics https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10wUgPbBAScQQK8Pp76smVd4-lB0g62qq

Portraits

My method for taking these photos was pitting the camera infant of me and angling the light at the side of my face. Then, I adjusted the light with the red and yellow. I was successful with the lighting I wanted. What was challenging is putting the camera at the right settings.

24 Crayons

The first step my group did was finding colors around the school and seeing if the crayons matched. The second step was to find the right angle to position the crayon so it looks decent and take the picture. One of the several challenges had was finding the right shade to match the crayon with. Adding on, there weren’t many warm colors around the school to refer to. I like the picture shown because I think the crayon and the colored patch and the crayon went together perfectly.
