First semester in this class has been easy. I got to learn different ways to take pictures. My thought didn’t change because I knew at first that photography was going to be fun. My favorite project was light graffiti because it had to to do with art. Yes because I really like art and I have always liked photography. Yes because I think it’s fun and creative in many ways.
For this assignment we had to take close up pictures of at least 3 to 5 living and non living things. well I had to use a app called VSCO and the problem was that it was to blurry when i got to close to the object. For this assignment we had to take pictures inspired by Justin Bettman. we had to take pictures of us in a “kitchen” like what Carrie Mae Weems did. This idea is to take a picture of a set in public and that has nothing to do with your set. when I edit my pictures in Photoshop I used the cropping tool, a black and white filter, and A elliptic marquee tool. If I had to choose a place to take to tell a story of my family. I would choose the living room. For this project we had to take 8 to 10 pictures in motion. what I did was get close to the object and press the shutter button half way down and when it was on the air i press it fully down. I think if you use the sports mode in a camera than it might be easy. I think dance or football would be cool.
I am thankful for my parents because they support me on everything. They help me when I need there help. They also make me smile everyday. They are everything to me.
I am thankful for Netflix because every time I am board Netflix is always there. when I need something new to watch Netflix is always there. If I didn’t have Netflix than I would have nothing to do.
I am thankful for my siblings because even if they are mean and annoying they are special to me. They are funny and make me laugh all the time.
I am thankful for my drawing book because it lets me express my feelings. I also love to draw. Sometime on my free time I like to draw with my brother and my mom.
I am thankful for having this necklace because my grandma gave it to me three years ago. She brought it from Israel, this necklace is so special to me it means a lot.
I am thankful for liking chipotle because Its my favorite food and I eat it almost every time. It’s’ unhealthy but tastes very good.
I am thankful for my education because with my education I can get into a good collage.
For this project I had to look for 15 strangers and ask them to smile and to not smile.The most difficult thing about this project was asking stranger if I could take two pictures of them. Some changes I saw was when they smiled they seemed nice but when they were serious they looked mean. A bias could effect someones job as a photographer because they could loose lots of opportunities. maybe you could ask them what they like, or about there life. for this assignment I had to change the camera to Manuel and changed the shutter speed for 15 seconds. We also had to have a dark setting and we used a flash light or glow stick etc. we tried to draw a smiley face but because we are bad artist in did not turn out the way we wanted. a picture that would bring it to the next level would be something moving. too see the rest of the picture click here.
for this assignment I thought it was easy because you had to make sure that the object or person was in one side of the grid but the center. At first I thought that the project would be hard because I didn’t know what it meant but in the end it was easy. The lines in the camera are grids that help you position the object or person. For this assignment I had to edit all 6 picture by using adobe photo shoot. i had to make the back ground darker and the person lighter. the quality of the camera worked but some pictures turned out blurry and every time I tried to make the background darker and the person lighter some parts like the eye would not appear and would be black. if you want to see the rest of the picture click here.
My group and I had to change the shutter speed to let it be open for a certain amount of time. we also had to change the sensitivity of the light which is called ISO. when we took the picture we held a light and faced it on that white back ground. I used Adobe Photo shoot to edit the back ground. there wasn’t much shadow and the back screen was bright. Sometime the shadow would show near the person.
