LAST PROJECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This semester has been very crazy trying to do all of these projects. But the good thing about it is that we learned many useful skills in photography. My thoughts about photography are still similar although I still think i’ts a little bit boring it was still pretty fun. I have learned to take photos in many different ways to get the best photo. My favorite project was probably the Set in The Street because my group had so many great ideas for it and it was really fun to do. Photography doesn’t really interest me as a career because as I said I think it’s boring. I don’t think i’m going to take photography in high school.

Up Close

See all of my photos here.

What worked was we put the camera in macro mode and didn’t zoom in. What was difficult was getting something to take a picture of that is interesting enough and so small at the same time. If I had to take the time and photograph something close up it would be a caterpillar.

Catch The Action

We had to take pictures of an action happening near and/or around us. We had to take the picture at the right time to get the action not blurry and in the motion. If you were to do this, i’d recommend getting some sort of object that you can trough or kick. If I wanted to do this than I would like to do this as a job I would do it at a NBA game.

Set in the Street

We created a table and a blank background and took pictures like we are at the table. I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the photos we created. If I had to do this project with my family would be in the basement which is where all of my family hangs out. You would probably see a lot of mayhem with me my brother, my brothers friends and my parents would be pretty hectic.

Smile Project

What was difficult was getting random people to let us take a picture of them. I saw that they are two different people when they smile and don’t smile. It could make you photo turn out different. I would ask them what would you like to do for this photo based on you background.

Light Graffiti

First we had to go to the gym and turn all of the lights of. Then we had to make the camera setting so the light can come in for a certain amount of time. What was difficult was doing the drawling in a certain amount of time.

Rule of Thirds

See all of my photos here

It was easy to find objects to take pictures of. It was hard to find the best possible angle and setup. I think that it makes no sense but I had to do it anyways. Something had to be on each intersection to be a rule of thirds.

Black Background

I had to change the settings in the camera so that the shutter stays open longer so that more light comes in. What worked is having the shutter stay open longer. It didn’t work when we had the shutter open to long and when we had it open for not enough.

5 Angles

I had to take photos of different things from different angles. I thought that there really weren’t many challenges besides thinking of the different angles to take from. The hardest object to take was the whole computer because you cant move it. It helped me think of new angles to take pictures from
