The photography home of the Lakelands Park Falcons.
In this project we had to take 10 close up pictures of different objects. It worked well when I was able to prop my phone up on something because it made my pictures clearer. It was hard to take photos up close because sometimes the wrong thing would be in focus while what you are trying to capture is blurry. I think it would be cool to photograph an animal eye because they are interesting to look at.
In this project we had to take photos of objects and people in motion. I took my photos from lower angles when I took a photo of someone jumping so they look like they are higher. One tip i have is to prop your phone up on something while taking the photo to make sure the person or object is level, it will make editing a lot easier. One sport of would like to get an action photo of is gymnastics because i think it would look cool to see them flipping in the air.
In this project we had to frame 5 subjects with different objects around the school and outside. This project was similar to the rule of thirds project because in both projects we chose one object to focus on. It was hard to find a good frame and to think of creative places to take the photo. The photo of the watch is my favorite because I like how I made the holes in the bench blurry and the watch clear.
In this project we had to take 8 photos including people and landscapes that followed the rule of thirds. We used the 2 vertical lines and the 2 horizontal lines to line up out photos. For my landscape photo I made the sky take up two thirds of the photo so you focus on the sunset. In my photo of Natalia I lined up her eyes with the two grid lines. I figured out that the photos of the sky looked the best when there is nothing in front of the sky. It was hard to get the objects exactly on the grid lines.
For this project we had to take pictures of ourselves in front of white and black paper backgrounds. We found out that it worked well if you stood further away from the paper. We also found out that it didn’t work too well when we tried to get more than two people in one photo because it caused to many shadows.

In this assignment we had to take 5 photos of 3 different objects in different angels. I found it challenging to get 5 different angels with out repeating any. The hardest thing to photograph was my gecko because it did not want to stand still. During this project I learned how to take photos in different angels to make them more interesting.
In this assignment we had to take photos of 24 crayons with a matching background. Each day we were only allowed a certain amount of time to wander around the school to take photos of them and it was difficult to find the right color to match some of the crayons. I thought it was pretty easy and fun to get some of the camera angels.
When I need photos I usually go to google, I usually don’t ask the owner of the photo if I can use it.In the past, I never really though about the logos in the corner or how important logos are until I started this class.This is my logo. I think it is a little too simple but I also like how simple it is because it won’t distract the viewer from my photos. It was kind of difficult to think of a design that is not hard but not to simple. When I use other peoples photos I include the logo to show that it is not my own photo. If I am in a situation where a class mate wants to use I photo, I would expect them to ask me first or give me credit in their photo

Overall this semester was very good. I learned a lot of things about photography like the certain lighting and rule of thirds. My thoughts on photography have changed a little because I realized what photos can convey to an audience. It can make you see what is really happening and bring a new view into your eyes. I have changed the way I take photos because now I take many photos of the same thing. I experiment and use many angles and viewpoints. I understand now that I have the power to make people see things I want them to see. Photography does interest me and probably will be a hobby of mine. I will hopefully continue to learn in high school because I want to learn more things and it is a chance for me to be more creative and show things to other people. I really enjoyed photography this year.
