My thoughts have changed on photography from having this class. I have learned new ways to take photos and different ways to edit photos and I do think this will help in the future when taking pictures. I have started to change the way I take photos of me and others from having this class. One of my favorite projects was light graffiti. This was my favorite because I never knew that you could take a picture and make it look like you are drawing with just a simple light and that was relly cool doing it myself. Photography is not one of my carrer intrest but I will like to take the class in high school just to explore and learn new ways to take pictures.

What worked well on this project was was finding things to take pictures of. You can take pictures of anything in your house, pets, friends, and even things on the street. what didn’t work was getting it up close. It was really hard for me to take a picture of something up close without it blurring and not focusing. a challenge was getting things inside of things. I took a photo of a speaker and I had to have my camera inside of the hole without anything in the way. If I had the time to get up close on the street lines in the middle of the road I would do that on the yellow lines. To find the rest of my photos click the link here  

This is a project where we have to build a set in the middle of something and take a close up as if it was the actual scene and then when we zoom out you will see that we are not where we seem we are and we have to have a photo zoomed out and zoomed in.  For this project me, Tabitha, Ashley, Brianna, Alexandra, Brooke, and Rebecca built a kitchen set with a table, a light, and be brought in our own props to use as if we were at out kitchen table at home. To edit our photos we used the modify tool to feather the photo at 200 then we used the inverse tool so when we curve it it wont show the light at the top. 

If I had to chose a place to chose my families stories I  would use a grocery store because my mom is a cook and my family likes to eat her cooking all the time so we spend a lot of time in the grocery store. My pictures would be my mom picking food off of the shelves and my little brother in th cart while one of my siblings are walking beside my mom. 

This is a project where you have to capture an action that is going on in a picture. When taking my photos i set my timer so when I took the photo the action it was perfect timing and was not blury.  if you are trying to take a picture of something fast with no blur make sure your camera is focused.

The number 1 thing im Thankfulful for is family. Thay always have my back when I need them and even if I dont they are always there.  I also love how we care for eachother, how we always help someone else out when going through rough times or even when we need the little things. They are important in my life as well as I am in theirs. I am thankful for family and always will be.

This project was not difficult at most besides trying to get people to let you to take photos of them. The changes i see is that people can look really different when they are smiling and not just phisically but mentally too. You can see that their personality is not what you thought of them as you saw when they were not smiling. When taking photos I asked how would you like for me to take your photo. I asked this because I really wanted an angle where they look like their personalities without showing or them telling me anything and I can find out by just seeing them smile. In order to take our photos we had to stand infront of a black wall and shine a light on our face without a shadow on the wall. What worked was getting the light right and what didnt work was trying to get the camera in the right angle and only getting your face in the picture without seeing a shadow and the camera was also a struggle it was so blurry.

This project is where you have to take 5 different pictures of one this with 5 different angles. This project was not hard at all because I am good at taking different angles. The keyboards was hard because there were so many letters that it kept blurring out. This project helped me learn that 1 photo can look better with a different angle.

light graffiti is when you set your camera settings to ISO 80 and a shutter speed up 15 seconds. we turned all of the lights and took flash lights and drawled things in the air. what worked was using the lights and what didn’t work was trying to make something with the lights. it was frustrating when we had to make sure the light was facing the camera. one thing i thought of was making a picture of  some character in a cartoon.

Rule of thirds is three imaginary lines where you put the subject of the photo on one of these lines. what worked was lining the objects up with the lines and what didn’t work was trying ti find lines to line yourself up with.  I really like the rule of thirds because it brings out the focus and makes it look like a portrait. The lines also are for lining the object up with something in the background and for rule of thirds you line it up with the 3rd line on the edge of the photo.
